Tolerancias transversales: No existen valores generales para las tolerancias en las medidas transversales que dependen de la anchura del desarrollo del perfil, de la forma, del espesor y de la posición de la dimensión de la medida. Las tolerancias deberán medirse en todos los casos a más de 250 mm de los extremos de una barra. Para los perfiles de forma más usual, estás tolerancias se recogen en las siguientes tablas, y pueden servir de orientación para otras condiciones y perfiles.

La tabla de tolerancia de una rama comprendida entre un borde y un pliegue es aplicable a perfiles conformados con bobinas cizalladas. Para bandas con bordes brutos las tolerancias de la tabla de tolerancia de una rama comprendida entre un borde y un pliegue deben duplicarse. Cuando la longitud esté formada por varios tramos, la tolerancia se aplicará a la longitud total de forma que la tolerancia de la medida total no sea la suma de las tolerancias parciales.
Tolerancias angulares: La desviación angular admisible sobre el ángulo teórico del perfil viene expuesto en la siguiente tabla.

Tolerancias en los radios de acuerdo: Las tolerancias sobre los valores de los radios de plegado se indican en la siguiente tabla.
A lo largo de un mismo perfil la diferencia entre los radios de plegado máximo y mínimo queda limitada al valor absoluto de la tolerancia dada en la siguiente tabla.

Tolerancia en el enderezado: La flecha máxima que puede presentar un producto apoyado sobre un mármol será 0.25% de la longitud del perfil.
Tolerancia de revirado: La tolerancia en el revirado para los perfiles usuales será de 1º por metro. Para otros perfiles, en especial, los perfiles asimétricos, esta tolerancia será fijada por el fabricante. El control se efectuará estando el producto colocado sobre un mármol con una de sus extremidades sujeta sobre él y de forma que la longitud mayor sea paralela al plano de descanso.
Tolerancias de longitud: Este apartado es aplicable a los perfiles solicitados a longitud fija. La tolerancia se indica en la siguiente tabla. Previo acuerdo esta tolerancia puede aplicarse toda en más o menos.
